Requirements for training in fiduciary services
Trust specialist certificate (federal certificate)
You must meet the following requirements for training with a federal certificate:
- Qualification: 3 years of basic vocational training, high school diploma or equivalent
- Work experience: 4 years of practical experience in accounting, trust services or taxation after completing your training
- Admission: Passed and valid admission exam
- Criminal record: No entries in the Central Criminal Register that would impair the purpose of the examination
Certified Fiduciary Expert (TREX)
The following requirements apply for training as a certified fiduciary expert:
- Qualification: Professional certificate from a professional examination, diploma from a higher professional examination or degree from a university, university of applied sciences or higher technical college or equivalent qualification
- Professional experience: At least 3 years of qualified professional experience (by May 31 of the examination year)
- Criminal record: No relevant entries in the Central Criminal Register
- Modules: Required module certificates or equivalent qualifications available
